Dark Future Meme

Ten years later, humanity and the synthetic life on the station are at odds
Hypatia has inducted as many citizens of Sacrosanct into a private military and launched
an all-out war against organic life and the people of Asphodel.
Some were kept on the station as captives, some escaped down planet-side
to become part of the resistance, and countless others were re-purposed into
Hypatia's willing slaves.

Now, tensions are at a peak and both sides are preparing for a throwdown. Skirmishes break out on the station and planet. Many of Hypatia's prisoners have been freed, but many more have fallen to the clutches of reprogramming.

Where will you be?

How this works:
-If you are synthetic or part-synthetic, OR if you have special armor (Looking at you, Spartans, Troncast, EVERY ROBOT EVER) you are a target for re-purpose.
You can still have escaped down to the planet, but she'll be after you. Going to the station is dangerous, once you enter her wide-area-network you are at risk of being hacked

-If you are fully organic, you are either dead, kept prisoner and made to work on the station, or part of the resistance on Asphodel.

-Anything in-between? You decide. Be creative with this.

-Fill out the form below to give us an idea of what your character is up to, what happened to them etc. Thread with each other! RP it out!

-Also, bring in your extra journals! There won't be the same people on the station ten years from now! If you're planning to app someone, or just have something interesting lying around, toss them in!

Well, it's hard for Rose to deny the accusation. "Spartan" is kind of an inadequate descriptor - there's the necessary allotments for Rose to sleep, eat, and clean herself, and a pile of notebooks in a pile near her bed, and virtually nothing else. It'd be a gruesome understatement to say that it was more fitting for a monk than a Goddess of Fortune.

She only turns back around after Vriska's spoken. She didn't expect any thanks, so she's not the least bit disappointed when they come. She feels relieved, vilified and a little bit angry that Vriska's death was, in fact, not heroic in the slightest. Cowardly? Possible. Idiotic? Almost definitively. She places her shades back on as she regards Vriska, masking her eyes. It's only then that she dwells on Vriska's voice and how different it is from normal. Then, she realizes, she can't remember the last time she spoke to Vriska face to face.

"With how long you were out, I'd actually began to wonder if you may have managed to commit an act that may be construed as something besides idiotic and suicidal. How foolish I was for daring to dream." Her voice is hoarse, despite not raising it once. "At least tell me it was merely as stupid as a lapse in spatial awareness and that you didn't just let something kill you."

Vriska still doesn't bother to get up, instead choosing to hunch forward a little and pick at the dried blood under her fingernails. Classy.

"Don't be globes-ass retarded. Like I'd let something kill me!" She brings a hand up to her face, examining the still-dirty nails for a second before wiggling her fingers. "Lost a couple of fingers to one of those robots with the laser things. So I killed myself to get them back!"

Wiggle, wiggle.

"See. Good as new. But thanks for the free ride back planetside! Totally appreciate it."

And she goes back to scraping little blue flakes off her hands again. Vriska Serket: classiest houseguest.

Rose is pretty much certain that she's just trying to get a rise out of her. It's just Vriska being Vriska. She's trying to save face. Funny thing is, that doesn't make Rose feel any better, so she smacks her hand and then grabs her own hoodie by its collar, lifting her up.

"I'm unaware if your brain or pan or whatever you want to call it has rotted so thoroughly as you're determined to make it seem, but I'll remind you that you were dead for several hours. Put your brain to use and take a moment to imagine exactly what, say, Hypatia could've done to you while you were you left deceased and defenseless for several hours, Serket."

Then, she lets go, her disgust all too apparent, even with those shitty irony shades masking her eyes. "Rest assured, I only ferried you here to avoid a circumstance where we'd have another God Tier hunting us down. J--" She pauses, shakes her head, and continues. "One is more than enough."
