...Yeah.

• Your character is riding on an elevator when - oh no - it breaks down and stops! How unexpected.
• Oh look, someone else is in there with them. How about that.
• That elevator isn't going to move until your thread amasses at least ten comments. MAYBE MORE.
• Commence arguing/going stir-crazy/making out to relieve the tension/all of the above.
• Agree to never speak of this again (and just use the stairs in future).

One of many. [Shepard watched her as she closed up the controls. She could barely operate an omnitool, there was no chance she could rewire an elevator.]

The other one's a little more friendly, but I make up for it with charisma. [She was kidding, probably. It's hard to tell with deadpan.]

Can't say I enjoy the idea, but you really can't get a better recommendation than being cloned off the commanding officer. [Jamison wasn't a clone, but that really didn't matter.]

[Shepard regards the doors and then Tex. It was worth a shot, and it beat standing around doing nothing.]

Left my elevator-jacking tools in my other set of armor. You might want to step back.

[ Sure she could scratch the hell out of her gauntlets ripping at the seam, but why bother when she was reasonably sure she could punch a hole straight through and create a handhold that way. This elevator was hardly military grade, after all. ]

[Shepard arched a brow and motioned to the door as she stepped back. Texas here wanted to pry the doors open on her own, fine.

Someone wanted to clear an obstacle out of her path? All on their own? Shepard had no problem with that.]

Shepard arched a brow but didn't comment. She'd gotten the doors open with impressive speed, even if the end result was...ineffective. She stared for a moment and then looked up at the ceiling and the access panel there. If there was a concrete wall, they were between floors.]

Well that burns lateral as an option, and I'd prefer we avoid down.

[Well, Shepard's not the most nimble person in the world, but she can pull herself up through an access panel. After she gets that cover off, at least. A quick biotic shove has the cover in the air above the elevator and Shepard doesn't even pause as she jumps and grabs the opening. The panel clatters onto the elevator roof, elsewhere, and Shepard is up.

There's about a three second pause before ceiling Shepard leans over the opening.]

If you left your grappling hook in your other armor, we have a problem.
