...Yeah.

• Your character is riding on an elevator when - oh no - it breaks down and stops! How unexpected.
• Oh look, someone else is in there with them. How about that.
• That elevator isn't going to move until your thread amasses at least ten comments. MAYBE MORE.
• Commence arguing/going stir-crazy/making out to relieve the tension/all of the above.
• Agree to never speak of this again (and just use the stairs in future).

[And there's a bit of messing around with the service panel on the elevator ceiling--his arms are pretty long--before part of it slides away. As predicted, it seems far too small to get Emile all the way through. He doesn't seem to mind, though, leaping about four feet into the air from a standing position and grunting as he gains purchase.]

[Which is probably an exaggeration. Just because O'Brien only looks nineteen doesn't mean he necessarily is. Still, despite some dangerous-sounding creaking and screeching, Emile eventually vaults up to the top of the elevator and sticks down a long arm for the ODST to grab.]

He makes it easily, slamming into the wall (grip tight for that shield flare) and digging his fingers in for purchase.]
