...Yeah.

• Your character is riding on an elevator when - oh no - it breaks down and stops! How unexpected.
• Oh look, someone else is in there with them. How about that.
• That elevator isn't going to move until your thread amasses at least ten comments. MAYBE MORE.
• Commence arguing/going stir-crazy/making out to relieve the tension/all of the above.
• Agree to never speak of this again (and just use the stairs in future).

[Shrieking at the door hadn't helped. Kicking the door hadn't helped. Telekinesis had made the whole elevator creak in that ominous, about to fall sort of way. Cindy was frustrated, and she doubted bees were going to crack through the door.

She harumphs, in a fashion that sounds most akin to a releasing pressure valve, and turns her attention back to the little girl in the room with her. She proceeds to pat Kanaya on the head, awkwardly, in reassurance.

Without further delay, Cindy cheerfully picked her up and put her on her shoulders. How's it feel to suddenly be a little over seven feet? At least you aren't in the cage this time, amirite?]

[She flails a little before resigning herself to being 7 feet up in the air and adjusting herself so that she is sitting on one shoulder. Then she just... carefully pats Cindy on the helmet.

[Cindy is just the happiest big sister right now. Kanaya isn't even screaming a little, and that's really boss. Now, though, she should probably find a way out.

Careful not to dislodge Kanaya, Cindy starts prodding at the seams of the elevator: vents, corners, part lines. She pretty much pokes anything that looks like it might be a weak spot. If she finds one, you bet she's going to smash it open to get out.]
