He finishes preening Epsilon and pats him gently once more.]

Then you feel how we often do, Agent Washington, who have control over our color but are, by default, so small as to seem harmless to humans.

It's an interesting lesson. I'm really not liking the experience. It's like those times the brat took over in comfort level.

[Giving Wash a glare as well as he can.] Not a brat.

I do not know why you two have such difficulties cooperating.

You must learn to compromise.

It is likely he is "mean" because you cause no end of trouble for him, Epsilon.

[TELLING SILENCE though he nuzzles Epsilon-birdy comfortingly with his nose]

[He crouches down in an invitation for Epsilon-bird to hop onto his back.]

[Delta pads slowly around the frog Washington, being careful to let Epsilon keep his balance.]

Perhaps York has also become an amphibian.

[Delta chitters as he begins to carefully climb up some bamboo.]

Perhaps he is a giant panda. That would match my form.

[Claws are tightening in surprise at the climbing red panda] Careful, Delta.

[He grips the branch tightly and makes an almost human gesture for Wash to follow them.]
