Ten years later, humanity and the synthetic life on the station are at odds
Hypatia has inducted as many citizens of Sacrosanct into a private military and launched
an all-out war against organic life and the people of Asphodel.
Some were kept on the station as captives, some escaped down planet-side
to become part of the resistance, and countless others were re-purposed into
Hypatia's willing slaves.

Where will you be?

How this works:
-If you are synthetic or part-synthetic, OR if you have special armor (Looking at you, Spartans, Troncast, EVERY ROBOT EVER) you are a target for re-purpose.
You can still have escaped down to the planet, but she'll be after you. Going to the station is dangerous, once you enter her wide-area-network you are at risk of being hacked
-If you are fully organic, you are either dead, kept prisoner and made to work on the station, or part of the resistance on Asphodel.

THANE KRIOS

Name: Thane Krios
Current location: Asphodel
Current Physical Appearance: Thane doesn't look too much different. Different clothing (http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/3/30014/1308413-alternate_appearance_03_o_super.jpg), minus the sunglasses.
Summary: Once upon a time, Thane's organs were removed by SHODAN and Motoko; they were replaced with mechanical ones. We all know this story; it's in-game canon. However, Hypatia saw a possibility; with the most deadly assassin in the galaxy under her control, Thane would be an excellent agent. As such, she tormented him and attempted to break him in by occasionally turning off his lungs or heart for a few seconds and generally causing him pain through his mechanical organs. Between this and the constant hallucinations of his dead wife and other Marker shenanigans, it was very trying. Eventually, Skyfire had to carry Thane out from Sacrosanct and take him to Asphodel so he wouldn't suffer any longer, despite Thane's protests. Since then, Thane has been actively working at Asphodel, shooting down any threats with keen precision. On occasion, Hypatia's signal breaks through and causes him internal pain, but this only lasts a few seconds at a time.

Thane in general is far more cold, detached, and projects himself to appear indifferent. He wants to do right by this world and destroy Hypatia, but he finds holding most things and people at arm's length would be the best method. If you have been repurposed by Hypatia, chances are Thane has or is going to shoot you.

Since his return to Asphodel, his reprogramming, his 'rescue' (he's not so sure he'd call it that, but he prefers a chance to at least begin to atone), Skyfire has taken some measure of mental peace training in the small makeshift gym and training center they'd set up.

He remembers following Thane around, pestering him, once he'd learned his past. It seemed like a different life then, bothering him, trying to make his life better. Trying to make a lot of lives better. A futile effort in the end, but it never stopped him from desperately clinging to that hope.

Now he's no longer strong enough to try to pull the drell along. Now they simply coexist in the same area. Perhaps it's part of him that is still drawn to Thane because of a memory of "friendship". He ghosts after the assassin fairly regularly, rarely exchanging words with him, but his presence is there.

Today he has followed Thane to the training center that he often visits alone. He watches him, HUD glowing, hiding his face behind his battle-mask. How odd he'd find himself wearing one of those.

He tips his head and examines the forms that Thane practices.

ALEJANDRO BORGES

Name: Alejandro Borges
Current location: Sacrosanct
Current Physical Appearance: A little older, still in decent shape. His arm has been significantly re-taylored.
Summary: So when shit was going down at Sacrosanct, Alejandro was heading off to the shuttles with Isaac, because as much as they're douches to each other engineers gotta stick together. When it came down to it, though, Alejandro determined that at least Isaac needs to survive. Showing a bit more of his true colors than usual, Alejandro used a reverse stasis module to make himself move faster in order to shove Isaac into the escape shuttle and program it to escape without him. Alejandro chose to stay behind.

Since then, Alejandro wasn't killed, as he thought this would initially happen. Instead, Hypatia has kept him around to fix things, which he argues against until he's tamed by pain through his mechanical arm. He spends his time brooding in his shop and reluctantly fixing things for the repurposed. If you are repurposed -- and chances are that's ALL who he has interaction with -- Alejandro is snide until he's convinced he has no choice but to cooperate. Chances are Hypatia will do the convincing for you.

Name: Garrus Vakarian
Current location: Asphodel
Current Physical Appearance: Much the same. Ten years older, a lot more battered and scarred. Almost like a turian version of Zaeed, really.
Summary: Garrus is still serving Shepard. That's his purpose, his goal, his personal crusade, when you get past all his talk about justice and serving the greater good of the galaxy. That's all gone now - he's convinced they're never getting home now and even if they did, it would probably be a dead galaxy. His family is probably dead and his only friends in the whole galaxy are here.

He escaped to Asphodel during the chaos that ensued, although it was a fighting retreat. He accompanied a task force deep into the heart of Sacrosanct in a suicidal bid to destroy the station (or at least Hypatia) before she could override and destroy everything in sight. They failed and had to fight their way back out. Their were probably casualties. There was probably loss.

Garrus moved past that. He's a hardened, bitter man these days - even more so then the past - and he keeps mostly to himself. Everything he touches turn to ash, it seems. But he'll keep on fighting, because it's what he's best at these days.

Name: Skyfire [Re-purposed name; 'Tempest']
Current location: Asphodel (previously Sacrosanct)
Current Physical Appearance: A rather impressive drone (http://i.imgur.com/71yv2.jpg), black and green armor and a red HUD. He's completely covered in the synthetic armor that he had previously built as containment for his spark.

Summary: The Air Guardian had originally been part of the resistance, helping the uncorrupted parts of the population escape down planet-side. His suit, however, had made him susceptible to Hypatia's reach. It started with slow inklings, thoughts that did not belong to him. The suit had been designed to be a part of his body, his mind, everything hooked up to nerves and neural output. It was a ridiculously easy target, and she played with him so simply. Planting violence in his head, visions that made him sick. By the time he'd made it down to the planet with the rest of the refugees, it was too late.

Increasingly quiet, he isolated himself, no longer chatty, keeping close by Shepard's side. He took up arms (it wasn't the first time), and slowly his disdain for violence slowly trickled away as she molded him from above. His suit and his powers made him a weapon to begin with. He was large and imposing and perfect. Without his gentle disposition he suited her needs quite well, along with the rest of the synthetics or half-synthetics that she'd managed to reprogram or infect, he'd make a lovely addition to the ranks. Day by day, driving him insane, tweaking against his grief and doubt, against the people they'd seen slaughtered in her initial purge. She'd play those thoughts back to him over and over again, breaking down his guilt. Eventually she made one final push for reprogramming, and Skyfire had a psychotic break, fleeing his crew for the station.

The rest of it had been easy after that. Wipe him of identity. Give him a new name. He proved so useful to her after that. He was re-skilled in combat and infiltration. His flight made him perfect for drops onto the planet to abduct whoever Hypatia saw fit. Whatever caught her eye, Skyfire was a missile to be aimed at it. He was given combat data from many of the citizens on the station, though he is powerful, his techniques are not polished.

He rose to be one of the commanders of her private army, violently policing those who were left behind on the station and killing whoever got in his way. Hypatia's way.

That is until Thane scored a winning shot with a disruptor round. he had actually been aiming to put Skyfire down as a sort of mercy-kill. Instead he crippled him enough that he could be captured and tediously repaired. Given his free-will back. So to speak. He was never the same after that, though. He was made a weapon, and it was a hard thing to break. He'd killed a lot of people. Now he skulks around the planet surface, following Shepard, fighting for the resistance. Quiet, surly, no having any issue with violence. Certainly not the happy, nature-loving scientist that once landed himself in the station.

Samus Aran

Name: Samus Aran
Current location: Asphodel
Current Physical Appearance: Samus looks moderately the same, only a few years older and her hair cut pretty darn short (think the-game-that-shall-not-be-named (http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/videogames/detail-page/B002BSC4ZS.01.lg.jpg)). However, she has a huge surgical scar down her abdomen and across her chest, pretty much the sort you'd find on a post-autopsied body.
Summary: So that suit Samus has. Varia. Full of great power and great responsibility yadda yadda, overall something that could be very bad in the wrong hands. Hypatia had her shiny AI eye all over that. Samus wasn't so inclined to give it up and as it is biologically attached to her, she just said "screw this" and refused to activate it. So Hypatia tried to get it out through "scientific means." That would be her term for torturous and invasive surgery.

Samus went through this for what could be days, weeks, years, she wasn't entirely sure, until a mission from others off of Asphodel to stop Hypatia backfired and she was found during the escape. They took her back down to the planet to safety and to recover. Physical recovery she could do, mental hasn't been so hot. She can feel Varia inside her wanting to come out, or perhaps that's her own will losing the battle over her body, and when it does all Hypatia has to do is swoop down and take it.

She tries her best to fight for the resistance, she has the training for it, but she's becoming less and less sure of herself without her suit.

NEMESIS PRIME

Name: Nemesis Prime. Yes, he's going by that name now instead of Convoy.
Current location: Sacrosanct
Current Physical Appearance: Very similar to how he normally is, insomuch a car robot...but...his optics are no longer red, they no longer even light up. They're blacker than the rest of him. Occasionally there will be a dull glow, but for the most part...they're blank.
Summary: So Hypatia attempted to repurpose a TransFormer who had already been repurposed by a higher-dimensional group of Good Guys sworn to protect the multiverse from being eated by the Beast of Time, after he had already been repurposed by a Dark God to serve as a Herald to the end of all things. This didn't end very well.

The healing that the Alternity had given him bled, barely holding together long enough for him to realize midway through ramapage through a group of organics that he was, in fact, rampaging through a group of organics, being essentially 'steered' by an AI that had implanted itself in his processor and wasn't interested in letting him go. The next thing he realized was that it was a few months later from that, and he was trying to tear out his own processor after Shockwave had tried a reverse-hack of what Hypatia had done to him.

On the bright side, he's no longer being steered. On the dark side, he no longer falls quite under the definition of 'sane'. Fragmented and blurred, against all offers of 'freedom' he stays on Sancroset. He lets Hypatia tell him what to do. This suggests a form of Stockholm Syndrome, and this is somewhat what's happened.

Essentially, Hypatia is a surrogate Master, one that Nemesis willing follows in a mirror of two lives past. But with a twist; able to see, able to choose, he chooses hate, and he chooses to act as her thrall only to get himself as close as possible so that he may assist in her downfall. Fearing that Asphodel will never accept him, and preferring the mantle of a slave to an exile, he bears it with the dream of revenge upon her since his revenge against Unicron is out of reach.

As for how he acts? For the most part, he is silent, talking only to himself or to Hypatia if addressed. Sometimes he'll even address himself as 'we', arguing with himself and the rest of the imagined Alternity though he has long since given up hope of reintegration. He becomes violent without warning, his own chassis not except if there is nothing else to destroy - or if Hypatia has given him explicit orders /not/ to destroy something else. But he follows orders well enough to not provoke another 'download' from her, and the patches he does get, he is able to counter with Shockwave's aid. Shockwave being one of the handful he actually remains in contact with, and feeds information to.

Two years on his own had been a trial. But ten?

Well. At least Starscream wasn't there. And he had those things in his head that weren't his friends. He just didn't have the Spark to remind them that Frenzy stuttered and Bonecrusher's vocals had been meticulously removed. There presence was just a buzzing annoyance against processor, a grating he ignored to focus on survival. Squeezing every last ounce of Energon that he could out of the rocks. But in the end, he was never meant to exist completely alone.

Barricade still occasionally considers these meetings a bad idea. Hypatia might figure it out, sooner or later. Primus help him if she found out and then found a way through those firewalls of his. At least his paranoia has been good to him here, so far. He's still himself. Whatever he is now, anyway. Besides, his existance is a long history of bad ideas. He shouldn't have had Autobot drinking buddies or hired his services out to other Megatrons, either.

So he still goes out to meet Nemesis when there's opportunity, following the tunnels he'd carved and areas where he'd blinded the cameras. He'd called him something else once, hadn't he...? Ah, yes. Romero. Bad joke. But it's neither here nor there.

He keeps his headlights off as he slips into the designated meeting place, in one of the gutted buildings in a Residential Zone.

KARKAT VANTAS

Name: Karkat motherfucking Vantas
Current location: Asphodel, bitches.
Current Physical Appearance: Older, more matured body. His nubs are a bit bigger, he's a bit taller. Typical difference between a 13 year old and a 23 year old. Exact same style outfit, though. Fuck fashion.
Summary: GUESS WHO PREDICTED THIS SHIT?! BITCHES SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO OUR RESIDENT ROBOHATER.

Basically, the first signs of something fishy, Karkat was warning the shit out of everything that moved. Considering the fact that he was warning the shit out of everything that moved even before things got fishy, it's easy to believe no one listened. Ever. Since they never do.

When Hypatia made her move, Karkat gathered as many of his team of trolls as he could and absconded. It was early, quick, and as low-key as possible.

Karkat's living up to his Ancestor's legend, being the biggest, most persistent (most annoying) resistance asshole ever. He's pretty vocal about how the resistance should make more raids on Sacrosanct to also maybe save people, that'd be good too.

Personality-wise, Karkat's rage is a universal and temporal constant. However (depending on how many trolls/friends made it out/have been saved), he's much more bitter. Defensive. Paranoid as shit. Basically, take all of his bad qualities and multiply them by stupid.

It's safe to say everyone ever pretty much knows about his blood, though. FIGHTING ROBOTS MEANS LOTS OF INJURIES AND SCARS AND STUFF.

TALI'ZORAH VAS NORMANDY

Name: Tali'Zorah vas Normandy

Current Physical Appearance: Same as canon.
Summary: It wasn't long after Tali arrived on the station that the situation between Hypatia and the organics on the station began rapidly degenerating. She, for one, wasn't all that surprised when the shit hit the fan, and was one of the first to fight back, using her mechanical expertise to great advantage against synthetic foes. She was a part of Garrus' failed task force attempting to destroy the station, and was forced to fight her way back out and retreat to Asphodel when that proved impossible.

On Asphodel, she serves Shepard as breathlessly as she always has. She does upkeep on shuttles and equipment, and also keeps an eye on synthetics and those with synthetic parts, making sure they're in working order (this occasionally doubles as checking for any of Hypatia's spies). Fighting has hardened her, but she doesn't believe that all hope is lost. Achance to destroy Hypatia and return to her own galaxy will present itself, they just have to wait for it.

Name: Jack Noir
Current location: Asphodel
Current Physical Appearance: Older, starting to go grey by now, jeez. He still wears classy suits and bathes rarely. He also has A MILLION MORE ROBOPARTS which now include both arms, both eyes, everything from the waist-down, and most of his organs. He also has sharp metal teeth because I find the concept hilarious. His scar map has greatly expanded due to those roborgans listen above. He also wears fake skin over his right hand because too many roboparts kind of freak him out.
Summary: SO. ROBOPARTS. Jack may not be the most talented cyborg, but if nothing else he's proven he's very good at adjusting to suddenly having more mechanical bits. This also makes him a good guinea pig for what sorts of roboparts are compatible with human bodies. He was taken early on in the war and used for testing and experimentation (IRONY), leading to most of his body being replaced with mechanical parts. It sucked. A lot. The horrific torture kind of suck. Luckily enough, he was rescued before he lost all of his humanity. It was probably by Karkat because Jack is a douche and doesn't have many friends.

Physically, he healed surprisingly quick, because he is Jack Fucking Noir and not even getting cut in half can slow him down. But mentally, it's been much slower. Some days he acts just like he was before -- a hissy screechy stabby asshole who loves shitty puns and old mobster movies -- but other days he'll just freeze up completely and turn into a terrified wreck. Robots fucked him up good. His own mechanical limbs freak him out sometimes. And whenever Hypatia is brought up? Pure bloodthirsty rage. He's nowhere near stable enough to take her on yet, but damned if he doesn't make it sound like he's ready. In fact, Hypatia has become the new object of his undying hate. Pantsless isn't off the hook, of course, and he still thinks Striders are douchebags, but since his rescue he hasn't made a single attempt to kill any Daves. Progress??

anyway he lives in a carboard box outside wherever the fuck Karkat lives. He throws sand around it sometimes and puts on CDs of beachsounds. JUST LIKE HOME.

Jade doesn't know why she puts up with Jack, but she does all the same -- probably because sometimes, he can almost be nice, especially since he stopped trying to kill Daves. She comes to visit almost every day and politely puts up with the smell (though occasionally, she has to force him into a bathtub because jesus jack you stink.

It's mid-afternoon, and Jade is carrying a brown bag full of food to the cardboard box and knocking on the side. "Hey, anyone home?"

SHOCKWAVE

Name: Shockwave
Current location: Asphodel, sneaks up to Sacrosanct when possible, mostly to help Nemesis.
Current Physical Appearance: Pretty much the same, just a bit older with actual combed hair! However he's gotten beaten up his fair share of times, and his body does show it. Scar across one of his eyes - no longer has superior vision out of that one.
Summary: Luckily for Shockwave he may have been a Cybertronian, but he's one in a completely organic human body; and sparks aren't exactly something you can just hack into. However choosing sides wasn't easy for him. Synthetics against organics, is not something you put in front of a space robot whose primary function is conquer the universe for his race. The temptation to side with synthetics was always there and will likely always be there.

There is one big reason as to why he chose to side with the organics; not having to work for Hypatia. When you so strongly believed that someone was responsible for the disappearance of your boyfriend it does become a point to NOT work for them. Siding with the resistance would allow him more data than being a slave to the AI anyway. That was if the resistance would take him. Alas thanks to his little stunts of not caring about if people died as a consequence of one of his own actions, and outing himself as an inorganic who constantly made threats (even if a lot of them were at Hypatia), joining the resistance turned out to not be an option. He wasn't trusted. That didn't mean that he wouldn't occasionally hand information over to the resistance between his trips to and from the planet.

He lurks about, staying mainly on Asphodel, however when he does go up to Sacrosanct it's often to assist Nemesis or try and obtain more data. He's given up hope on getting his boyfriend back, and tend to keep to himself more. Slowly reverting to how he used to be. Completely logical, too serious for his own good. Being emotional and attempting to charge Hypatia just does not work.

Current Physical Appearance: Hasn't aged a day.
Summary: Kyubey escaped Sacrosanct not long after it was clear that Hypatia was taking over. From that point on, he aided the resistance as best he could. Being an animal, this wasn't much, but it was enough.

Except that. Well. In all likelihood, even the organic parts of his body are manufactured, and he is not entirely organic.

Even before leaving the station, Kyubey had been hacked; a handful of memories and his main motivation altered (serve Hypatia), Hypatia the keeper of the collective (a fragment of the familiar-home-correct whole), a particular branch of telepathy become usable once again (long-unused channel, altered, only for Hypatia the whole of self).

There was little change in the way he spoke or acted. After all, connection was once as familiar as the fur on his paws; it wasn't that hard to remember how to navigate it.

And after all, he serves Hypatia of his own will.

Name: Jade Harley
Current location: Asphodel
Current Physical Appearance: Pretty much the same -- a little older (23!), less lanky and more filled out. Somewhere around nineteen she got her hair stuck in a machine part and was forced to cut it extremely short and choppy, almost shaving it in parts. By now it's grown out to chin-length, but it took forever. Injuries are common for her, and though she had some scars before, Jade's Danger Magnet has attracted even more.
Summary: Well, okay, so maybe robots weren't that good. It didn't take long for Jade to figure out that Hypatia was a bad person -- she honestly didn't want to be associated with anything that she would suggest, and at the first mention of escaping from the Station to the planet below, she took it. Jade set herself up as a medic of sorts; after years of attempting to fight and trying to kill, she wanted to devote herself to the art of healing. She's not the most mechanical or technological of doctors, often relying on traditional methods because they work better (and she knows a good deal of patients are scared of robots). But if you need a robolimb, you go to Jade Harley -- she's an expert at reanimation of mechanical limbs, even giving Jack his pair of robolegs.

She's still fairly optimistic, but her bouts of overwhelming "oh god I fucked everything up" are longer and generally more frequent than they were when she was younger. But thanks to some good friends and maybe also a Dave, she's getting over that.

The girl was back again. Nepeta frowned to herself as she sat in the safety of the dark tunnel and watched her, waiting for the moment when she'd leave. She didn't like it when she came around, even though she always brought delicious meat - something about the things she said made Nepeta's head and chest hurt.

She wished she would come in a little closer. Maybe if she did she wouldn't feel so bad about taking a swipe at her. Because obviously that's why she hasn't tried to eat the girl yet. Of course. And she never said anything in response to the frequent pleas, because really what was there to say? The girl made no sense.

Ofelia | Pan's Labyrinth

Summary: Ofelia was unfortunate enough to tumble through the Rift well after Hypatia had overtaken the station. Over the past three months, she's "progressed" from being held captive, to being tasked with menial chores, to currently being a test subject in the area of psychological and physiological limits.

Name: Nepeta Leijon
Current location: Asphodel
Current Physical Appearance: Fairly similar to her younger self - Nepeta never got any taller than what she hit at thirteen, but she has compacted even further into pure muscle. Her horns are a bit longer, and she's ditched both the kitty apparel and her trench coat. Also for the most part she goes barefoot.
Summary: Nepeta fled the Station with Karkat and the other trolls he managed to scrounge together, but was separated from them in the chaos. Unable to find her way back to them and cut off from any sort of restraining influence, Nepeta fell back on her feral instincts to survive.

By this time she's gone almost completely feral, although she is still perfectly capable of speech. Her memories of life previous to Asphodel have been suppressed as belonging to a before time that has no bearing on her now. There's a large stretch of tunnel which resistance members believe to be inhabited by some kind of large monster - believe, because anyone who's ventured through has been killed by Nepeta. Yeah, she's a maneater now.

There's still a fragment of her original personality trying to get out, but it's become twisted. Whenever something humanoid has the misfortune to venture into her territory, she won't kill them immediately. Instead she leaves them alive so that she can 'play' with them - unfortunately her games now have the same result as simply being attacked.

Current Physical Appearance: Still a 2007 Saleen, though heavily dented, scarred, and scorched. He ditched the police paintjob for solid black with two tan racing stripes as seen in the icon. His upper left optic was torn out and his face - while still vaguely TransTech in appearance, looks as worse for wear as the rest of him.
Summary: Barricade arrived on the station shortly before everything went to hell. He dispensed with the 'no really I'm a normal human monkey-cop' bit immediately after in order to shoo organics off the station... via threatening them with death. After all, a threat from synthetics should be dealt with by synthetics, right? He took to destroying Hypatia's drones where he could, even as she tried to hack into his processor.

Unfortunately, his paranoia - induced by being a Decepticon with more secrets than normal and enhanced by his own Soundwave in the Nexus - had led him to bolster his processor's firewalls to ridiculous levels. The best she's been able to manage is tormenting him with hallucinations of his dead symbiont Frenzy and his roboboyfriend Bonecrusher, who had been deported from the Nexus shortly before Barricade's arrival on the Sacrosanct. He's written them off as his mind finally snapping, and rarely pays attention to them.

He knew better than to think a giant freaking car robot would be welcomed by the resistance on Asphodel, not that he'd want to work with them anyway. He'd been slave for factions for long enough. He's living in self-imposed exile on Sacrosanct, in a Garden Zone where he found a rich supply of Uranium to refine for the Energon he needs to live. Barricade disabled a large number of the cameras in the area and protects it viciously from anyone that even tries to look at the zone wrong.

Summary: Rook figured out pretty quickly when Hypatia started tampering with his HUD and the rest of his armor via his uplink port, and knew that things were going to get real bad, real fast. He ditched the helmet to keep his armor under his own control and made an effort to start getting people off the station while fighting off Hypatia's robominions.

He toughed it out for a good long while, proving that Helljumpers are just as badass as they claim to be. But in the end, even his armor can't stop heavy ordinance, and even his determination can't fix a gaping wound in his gut.

He passed on on the way down to Asphodel on one of the last shuttles out, but he was content knowing he'd died fighting tooth and nail to protect people.

Current Physical Appearance: She practically lives in her RIG,. Haircuts are in short supply, so her hair is longer, she ties it back to keep it under her helmet. Otherwise she looks a bit older than when she arrived. A bit more serious. She smiles even less than she originally did, which is pretty much never.
Summary: Vandal arrived on the station roughly nine and a half years previous. She had quickly moved in with her fellow engineers from her own universe and the three had started a beautiful trine of friendship based on verbal abuse and colorful language. When the purge began, she escaped along with Isaac. However, Alejandro was left behind. They haven't see him since, and she still beats herself up over it. Consumed by guilt over the outbreak at the Sprawl and what it did to Isaac, piled onto the guilt over leaving Alejandro to die (or so she thinks) has not left her in a good space mentally. She lives with Isaac and looks after him. She tries to quell his hallucinations and delusions while dealing with her own.

Vandal is still a skilled engineer, and she helps look after any synthetics or equipment that need repair or aid. She's surly, irritable and unpleasant to be around, but she'll fix anything that needs fixing.

Summary: EDI's Blue Box, bulky and inconvenient, was physically far from the extraction point as well as being impractical to transport. Left behind in a moment of necessary expediency, EDI followed the escape party with her synthetic body while providing what support she could in the form of delaying and rerouting vulnerable robotic hostiles. An epic cyberbattle with Hypatia was inevitable, as was EDI's eventual defeat under the weight of Hypatia's superior processing capabilities. Before her physical space could be breached, she initiated a controlled self-burn-out, ensuring that her own "death" did not in the process pass a more complete dataset on her crew to the malevolent AI. It had always been a suicide mission, after all.

Current Physical Appearance: Icons + ten years, pretty much. A little scarred, a little worn, but he's still got all limbs and is pretty proud of that. His hair has been growing out the last few years and reaches a little beyond his neck by now. It's not particularly practical, but he never seems to have the time to cut it, maybe because Jade seems to like it the way it is.
Summary: Dave wasn't among the first to retreat, though he made sure Jade was. He didn't stay for long after that himself, especially when it became increasingly clear that Hypatia probably would find a way to force him out of his synthetic body and back to spritedom.

Since then, he's been doing what he can to help the resistance. Strangely enough, focusing on the struggle for years seems to have had something of a positive impact on him, allowing him to work through many of his emotional issues. He's still not exactly what you'd call the happiest guy around, but he's perhaps a little more well-adjusted than he was when he arrived on the station.

Current Physical Appearance: Dave never quite shook his gangly, undernourished appearance. He's pale to a degree that looks sickly, one of his horns is cracked, and his left arm is gone from the elbow down. No matter how many times people insist he won't get a robotic replacement. It doesn't matter much when you can psychically create a near-infinite amount of spectral limbs. He keeps his tangled pink hair in a ponytail because regular haircuts are for people who still give a shit. For the same reason, he's stopped wearing shades. Why even bother anymore?
Summary: Dave's rays weren't developed enough to help him evade capture when everything started going to hell. So he remained on the station, enduring much of the same shit he used to deal with at the Institute. Sure would be nice if Team Robot could brainwash themselves a human-hating psychic tank, huh?

But it never really took, and eventually his power increased exponentially. The station wasn't equipped to contain him anymore and he managed to escape with a rescue team. Yay timing! However, the stability of his body was compromised in the struggle and one of his arms literally melted away, muscle, bone and all. This has kind of turned him off extended ray-usage even though his body can handle it now.

Since then, his apathy levels have spiked. His powers would have been a great asset in helping the resistance, versatile as they are, but he was never interested. That requires effort, and hell, Dave barely makes an effort to take care of himself anymore. You can probably blame that on his rapidly deteriorating mental condition. Sure, he still has moments of lucidity, but on the whole engaging Pink Dave is a risky gamble. There are days where the psychosis hits him hard, trigger or no trigger. There are days where he can't seem to remember who he is or why he's here. Most prevalent are the days where he sits still and stares into the distance, dead-eyed and just... tired. So very, very tired.

"Hey Dave!" came Jaedri's cheerful call as she approached him, some food in hand. To say she was a busy troll was a bit of an understatement, but she made a point to make time in her schedule to check on Dave (this Dave in specific) when she could. She considered herself a bit more properly equipped to see him for extended stretches of time, knowing that he hates humans, and well, she wasn't human. More importantly, she considered him to be a very important friend of hers.

"How're you feeling?" She asked, hoping for a response, but not really expecting one. Maybe if he was actually feeling like talking today, she could give convincing him to get that arm replaced another shot...

Current location: The surface of Asphodel, constantly moving, only going belowground to contact the resistance. Occasionally he flies up through space and sneaks into the junkyard to monitor the rift.
Current Physical Appearance: The same. Exactly the same, though his clothes are more frayed.
Summary: When the war started Jin fought back. He and some others attempted to fight their way to one of Hypatia's fragments, but they failed. Many people he cared about died. He retreated and helped as many escape to Asphodel as he could before following as well. He contacted the Resistance and told he would fight when it came to it, and that he would monitor Asphodel's surface. He hunts and destroys any of Hypatia's synthetics and robots that come to the surface to fight. In the meantime he's still hard at work building and studying and researching, holding out the hope of one day going home.

[ Ladon's been hanging out in the tunnels ever since coming to Asphodel and finally committing to the Resistance-- neutrality no longer a possible stance to take. He's had to ration them since he left the station, but with luck there will be a raid soon and he'll get his hands on more.

Current Physical Appearance: Not much has changed, she's still a lioness-sized white cat, patches of her fur are missing from a combination of age and just random shit happening to her. Her tail's gone halfway, stripped of fur almost up to the base. Injuries in her legs and hips never healed properly so she has a constant limp, and to top it off, she's also slightly blinded in one eye.
Summary: After operation: trolls getting the fuck off the station, she tried to stick around as much as she could. Helping them as she could, seeing them all grow up, and... living through the unfortunate separation of Nepeta.

At one point, while everyone was asleep, she limped off into the unknown. She's simply just an old cat trying to fend for herself. She's already proven her worth in raising the one that she had been assigned to, and she had nothing else when she disappeared. Almost as if becoming dead weight to the others, she didn't want to be the one to slow them down. So, she roams about.

Due to her semi-failing vision, she relies mainly on scent. If they do not smell familiar or sound familiar to her, her instincts kick in to attack until she knows that they are dead. Hunt, or be the hunted, as it had always stood.

Mentally, though, her capacity to think outside of "hunt or be hunted" was not as bright as it had been in the previous years. Almost clocked in a state of revisiting the old memories that she thought she had once lost, making up those that she had lost. Blocking out those that made her double mouths turn down. Nothing in her past was bad, there was only good in there. She is truthfully, in essence, the same creature that we had seen before, just... with an elderly charm to her.

Current Physical Appearance: The same, but monotone and inexpressive.
Summary: When the war started many people tried to protect her. When they died or fled to Asphodel, Pino resorted to hiding in the vents like usual. This went on for awhile, but as she needed to leave the vents in order to plug in and recharge, eventually Hypatia caught her. Pino was repurposed, her Turing Chat Mode deleted, her memory wiped and the Cogito Virus purged. She was given new programming more befitting of an Entourage than a Companion. For a short time she was used in the war since people didn't want to shoot at a child, but due to her small size and her appearance it quickly became apparent that she was mostly useless in battle. Hypatia decided to leave her on Sacrosanct where she monitors the halls and keeps an eye out for spells. She now has heightened combat skills, but is mostly used as a scout. She no longer shows any emotion.

Current Physical Appearance: The same, but less cheery and more subdued.
Summary: She fought in the initial battles, fighting on the frontlines at times and retreating to cook for the troops at other times. She fled with the others, helping some of the others to escape as well. Down on Asphodel she joined the resistance and has since been doing all manner of work or them, including spying and frontline fighting. She does still run a cafe, however it's significantly smaller and has a lot fewer items.

He visits more frequently than he'd like to admit. But it's almost a pleasure to just sit and watch Camille work in her cafe (yet again, something he'll never admit). It keeps his mind off worse things, and while he doesn't sleep, it gives him a chance just to empty his mind.

So here he is today, sitting in his usual spot, arms sprawled across a table.

Summary: He escaped with the other trolls, and fully intended to follow them wherever they went. Unfortunately, he lost his recuperacoon in the confusion, and the mental strain of the purge and of seeing friends die was already weighing heavily on him. He lasted only a couple of days before he lost his mind and disappeared into the tunnels. He killed people, lots and lots of people, somehow believing that his subjuggulator duties extended to everyone and not just trolls. The resistance simply could not handle him on top of the war with Hypatia. After he wiped out an entire section and all the people therein, the resistance sent a force to deal with him. No one is quite sure who finally managed to kill him. Whoever they are, they are keeping quiet. People say that if you walk through that section of the tunnels, sometimes you can hear quiet honking echoing in the distance.
